THE FIRST AMERICAN AND U.S.ANGEL: Justice in Tights!
F.A. and U.S. Angel are the stars of a TV docusoap about their daily life as vigilantes. In front of the cameras, both of them are very vain and try to show how super-duper they are.
SPLASH BRANNIGAN: Testostor the Terrible!
Splash Brannigan is guest starring at a comic convention where he starts messing around with the muscle-loaded Testostor (a kind of double-sized Hulk).
While they are fighting each other, there are lots of comic industry injokes in the background. Of course, their respective managers agree to do a Crossover between Splash and Testostor.
COBWEB: Mondo Gowando!
Cobweb and Clarice are on a vacation in the jungle. They are caught by strange native clan women, saved by adventurer Mark Male and end up in the nest of a giant ape.
A nice homage to newspaper strips - the story is split into several black-and-white three-panel strips with one coloured Sunday page at the end.
GREYSHIRT: Thinx
A prisoner is telling his story: he was seducted by a woman and shot her husband who presumably wanted to cut off her hands. After that, he was arrested by Greyshirt.
This story is all about thoughts and thinking, and so all the panels are shaped like thought balloons.
